As supporters, the Classics have been spectacles only enjoyed from afar for most of the last two years. The usual vibrant colours of flares and proud fans contrasting the grey Northern French and Belgium skies sadly missing. Even we had to get creative in bringing this range, inspired by the legends of cycling’s past, to life. With location shoots almost impossible in Europe, we found backdrops that conjured vivid memories of Classics past.
Flèche Wallonne is a tale as old as time. Or the 1930s. It’s tough. It’s cobbled. It’s long. The race is one that every rider dreams of adding to their Palmares. As riders round the circuit, fans gather along the ever-brutiful Mur de Huy climb. Waving their flags. With Belgian beer and frites in hand. Although the climb is ‘only’ 1.3 kilometres, its devilish pitches prove to make or break riders chances at a win in this race. In order to claim victory, riders must give 100% on ascents of over 20%. Whoever bests the beast on the wall is likely to claim victory. We’ll see you at the top of the Mur.
We may have to wait until October for it. But Paris-Roubaix remains our favourite race on the calendar. What’s more? There’s now a women’s edition to the most classical of all the Classics. Wrapped hands. Rugged cobbles. For the riders, it may be called the ‘Hell of the North,’ but it’s a spectators' heaven.
Along with our special edition Monuments series, the Classics Collection also includes updated seasonal colourways presented in our pinnacle jerseys.
