In an unprecedented move, this year’s Tour de l'Avenir, also known as the U23 Tour de France, will introduce a women’s race, a landmark moment that carries immense significance in our sport. The pathway to equality should not be underestimated. It hasn’t been one moment, but a series of watershed moments over the last 50 years that have changed sport. Forever. This change is often driven by the outspoken-athlete. Those willing to go against the mainstream. To risk censure. The Radicals.

This visual collection encapsulates our journey to achieve gender parity in women's sports. The swirling graphics mirror the nonlinear progress towards equality — from historical milestones to setbacks, and breaking the status quo that propels us forward.

The design features bold colors and references to inspiring moments of resilience and unity that level the playing field. By creating a pattern that could continue perpetually, we acknowledge that there is still work to be done, but hope it inspires riders to consider the immense strides that have been made and that we continue to chase with unwavering passion.

20% of all proceeds of the Future Radicals Collection will go back to the Tour de l'Avenir and in helping find our next superstar. This is in addition to the financial and product sponsorship Black Sheep Cycling provides the race and it's organisers.
