The Essentials Team Collection 2019 has been updated with six additional colourways (3 for men, 3 for women) for the Northern Hemisphere Summer. Utilising Blocks and Dots, we introduce earthy tones to the Collection, inspired by European summers and architecture. All six colours perfectly complementing the existing stable of TC19 Jerseys while bringing freshness to the range for those enjoying warmer days on the bike.

Long nights and late evening rides is what makes summer in Europe so special. So alluring. Sunsets that seem to last for hours, softly kissing goodnight to a day spent riding through quaint villages with rich, earthy and pastel toned architecture. The cacophony of colours and softening shadows splintered only by thoughts of throwing yourself into the deep blue Mediterranean Sea and cracking your first Cerveza under changing skies.

We launched the first Essentials Team Collection Jersey over two years ago and it has remained one of our most popular products. We have continually refined both fabrics and fit to point where we now have a perfectly fitting garment. A jersey built on the super lightweight qualities and luxurious softness of Light Asteroid 2.0, and then backed by a flawless fit from shoulder through to waist. This is the jersey we want you to wear day in, day out.

Starting with our Light Asteroid 2.0 fabric, we are using a foundation that gives the rider a large fit range. Specifically due to the fabric's 4-way stretch qualities, a composition of part polyester and nylon, and a super-light 130 grams per square metre weight. Our male rider will also become accustomed to how the fabric moulds to the skin, giving that second-skin sensation that the Essentials Team Collection jersey has become known for.

Let's just get this straight. We are all different, and if there has been one goal that has driven us, it's understanding that. From XXS through to XXL, our attention has been to create a garment specific for the athletic female body, with fabrics and a construction that achieves a true fit for everybody.

Because the Essentials TC Jerseys are ideally worn in summer, they have been updated to now give an ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) rating of plus 30. That’s all well and good, but what does that actually mean? Basically, one-thirtieth of the UVR (ultraviolet radiation) will be able to pass through the fabric. For one of the lightest weight jerseys you will ever wear, this is pretty good. But our commitment doesn’t end there.
